About The Position

Cash Vault Tellers process cash deposits and provide change fulfillment services while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service. They are expected to value both the work accomplished and how it is performed, communicate positively and professionally with coworkers and management, and act in accordance with Empyreal Logistics’ vision, values, and WOW culture. The role involves accurately processing and tracking deposits and vault assets, safely handling negotiables and confidential records, maintaining cash-processing equipment and a clean work area, and promptly notifying a supervisor or manager of delays, issues, concerns, or problems. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Accuracy and good math skills are required.
Must be able to use a computer and cash-processing equipment.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds and sometimes participate in a team lift of around 50 pounds.
Must demonstrate professionalism, politeness, courtesy, trustworthiness, and integrity, and be willing to help the team.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of teller, vault teller, cage cashier, lead cashier, or equivalent cash-handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate positively, professionally, and courteously with coworkers and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and other electronic means.
Safely operate cash-processing equipment and keep it in good working order.
Accurately and efficiently count and log client deposits in the teller software system.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track deposits.
Prepare currency and coin orders.
Accurately count and track all vault assets.
Ensure the safety of negotiables and confidential records.
Notify a supervisor or manager promptly about delays, issues, concerns, or problems.
Maintain a clean and orderly teller processing area.
Work respectfully and constructively with others, support the team, and represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Perform other duties as assigned.
