About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Cash Office Associates support daily store operations and help deliver a convenient, engaging shopping experience. The role calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. Associates respond to customer and colleague questions, assist with gift wrapping, and sell gift cards and greeting cards. They also welcome customers in person and by phone, connect customers with members of the Selling Team, help resolve credit card and loyalty card issues, and perform cash office operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; candidates with this qualification are encouraged to apply.
1–2 years of related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Deliver a luxury customer experience by greeting and engaging customers with genuine, friendly interactions.
Work with customers and colleagues to resolve credit card and loyalty card issues and answer questions.
Greet customers in person and by phone and connect them with a Selling Team professional.
Perform cash office functions and operations, including deposits, loans, currency exchange, and managing super funds.
Respond to customer and store colleague questions.
Assist with gift wrapping and sell gift cards and greeting cards.
