About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Cash Office Associate plays a critical role in the daily operations of the store. The role supports an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. Responsibilities include responding to customer and colleague questions, assisting with gift wrapping, selling gift cards and greeting cards, providing customer service, and carrying out cash office functions.

Requirements

One to two years of related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and constant communication with customers.
The position requires using multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods.
The position occasionally requires moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
The position frequently requires lifting 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver a luxury customer experience by greeting and engaging customers with genuine, friendly interactions.
Work with customers and colleagues to resolve credit card and loyalty card issues and questions.
Greet customers in person and by phone and connect them with a Selling Team professional.
Perform cash office functions, including deposits, loans, currency exchange, and managing super funds.
