About The Position

ANDRITZ is hiring a Cash Application Analyst in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role processes and researches cash receipts, resolves payment discrepancies, prepares miscellaneous invoices and journal entries, and maintains supporting documentation. It requires careful, accurate work with high-volume data entry and the ability to manage multiple priorities, month-end closing pressure, and changing deadlines. The analyst works independently with minimal supervision and contributes effectively within a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
• Experience working with multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, CAD, and others.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable adapting to change and shifting priorities in a fast-moving team environment.
• Maintains a positive attitude when working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts, including deposits, logging receipts in Excel, and posting transactions in SAP.
• Research cash receipts in SAP, including payment history across multiple legal entities and bank accounts.
• Perform high-volume, repetitive data entry with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Research and resolve complex payment discrepancies.
• Prepare miscellaneous invoicing, including rebilling items between sister companies.
• Manually enter bank transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, including corrections and reclassifications.
• Maintain filing and supporting documentation as needed.
