About The Position

Corpay is hiring a Cash Application Specialist for its ALE Solutions division within the Lodging line of business. This hybrid role is based in St. Charles, Illinois, and focuses on reducing and maintaining acceptable outstanding Accounts Receivable balances by accurately recording client payments. The specialist reports directly to the A/R Manager and regularly collaborates with accounting staff.

Corpay provides an assigned workspace in its St. Charles office, company-issued equipment, and formal, hands-on training. The expected hourly pay range is $20–$22, with the final offer determined by job-related factors and applicable market conditions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of data entry or high-volume call center experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; the role involves high-volume, time-sensitive data entry and correction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet vital deadlines, stay organized, solve problems, multitask, and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to concentrate and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• D365 experience is a plus.
• ACT database experience is a plus.
• High Radius, One Inc, and/or Orbital experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process lockbox and electronic payments received from carriers and settle payments against invoices.
• Process physical check payments from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoices and general ledger accounts.
• Process credit card transactions and send invoice requests to the appropriate Billing teams for posting.
• Identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review weekly and monthly aging discrepancies.
• Assist client-facing staff with researching payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Support disputed credit card payments.
• Assist with and back up other deposits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
