About The Position

Corpay is hiring a Cash Application Specialist in its ALE Solutions division, within the Lodging line of business. This hybrid position is based in St. Charles, Illinois. The specialist is responsible for recording client payments accurately and reducing and maintaining acceptable outstanding Accounts Receivable balances. The role reports directly to the A/R Manager and regularly collaborates with accounting staff.

Corpay provides an assigned workspace in the St. Charles office, company-issued equipment, and formal, hands-on training. The expected hourly pay range is $20–$22, based on work location and job-related factors.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of data entry or high-volume call center experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; the role involves high-volume, time-sensitive data entry and correction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet vital deadlines, stay organized, solve problems, multitask, and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to concentrate and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience.
• College degree.
• D365 experience.
• ACT database experience.
• Experience with High Radius, One Inc, and/or Orbital.

Responsibilities

• Process lockbox and electronic payments received from carriers and settle payments against invoices.
• Process physical check payments received from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoices and general ledger accounts.
• Process credit card transactions and send invoice requests to appropriate Billing teams for posting.
• Identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review weekly and monthly aging discrepancies.
• Assist client-facing staff with research into payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Support disputed credit card payments.
• Assist with and provide backup for other deposits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
