About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Case Manager to support attorneys in developing settlements and preparing documents and correspondence. The role manages a varied caseload and requires an organized, customer-focused, and empathetic professional. Case files are managed from intake through closing under an attorney’s direction. Remote and hybrid work are not eligible.

Requirements

Fluency in Spanish is required.
Ability to be a team player and follow procedures.
Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Prelitigation Paralegal, or Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster is strongly preferred.
At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with existing and potential clients by telephone and in person.
Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
Obtain documents needed to support injury and/or liability positions.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
Coordinate with coworkers involved in managing and supporting case files.
Maintain organized case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting materials for submission to carriers under an attorney’s direct supervision.
Interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
Manage case files from intake to closing under an attorney’s direction.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
