The Case Aide will have the opportunity to build relationships with 4-6 families, encouraging them while sharing the message of hope. This role enables parents involved with the DCS system to see their child(ren) who have been removed from the home by facilitating a safe environment for positive interactions, leading toward family reunification. The Case Aide will build relationships with children while transporting them to and from visits with their parents. A supportive network of supervisors, mentors, and teams will be available to discuss and process incidents and cases, fostering growth in knowledge, critical thinking skills, and discernment in a ministry setting. The role involves supervising visits (typically 2-4 hours) between the child and parent(s), documenting interactions and behaviors to assess parental skill development. Additionally, the Case Aide will support families both physically (housing, food pantry resources) and spiritually (sharing the gospel and prayer when appropriate), and assist families in following guidelines for visits to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
