About The Position

The Carwash/Gas Attendant serves Members and prospective Members by explaining Membership programs and benefits, supporting account decisions and renewals, and promoting Sam's Club products and services. The role provides customer service, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, and addresses Member concerns while helping maintain a safe shopping environment.

The attendant maintains and organizes the car wash and gas station areas, including pricing signage, merchandise, supplies, equipment, and required records. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking merchandise, handling claims and returns, identifying shrink and damage, processing purchases using cash registers, and operating and maintaining area equipment in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $24.00, with possible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in qualifying circumstances. The position is based at 1414 Marlandwood Road, Temple, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Explain Membership types, programs, benefits, credit card programs, and application processes to current and prospective Members; support account decisions, encourage renewals, and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services.
• Provide Member service by acknowledging Members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
• Clean and organize the car wash and gas station area and ensure pricing signage is accurate.
• Maintain the Gas Station/Car Wash area according to Company policies and procedures, including handling claims and returns, zoning and organizing merchandise and supplies, identifying shrink and damage, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility, use equipment appropriately, and complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
• Operate and maintain Gas Station/Car Wash equipment and provide products and services to Members in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
