About The Position

The Carwash/Gas Attendant provides customer and member service at the gas station and car wash, including explaining membership types, programs, benefits, renewals, and credit card application processes. The role assists customers with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and learning about products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment. The attendant maintains and organizes the car wash and gas station areas, including pricing signage, merchandise and supplies, equipment, and required documentation. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking supplies, processing purchases, handling claims and returns, identifying shrink or damage, and operating and maintaining area equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures. Associates are expected to demonstrate respect, integrity, customer service, teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and a commitment to improvement. The position is based at the Sam's Club location at 16701 94th Ave N, Maple Grove, MN 55311-5448.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Explain membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members; support account decisions, membership upgrades, renewals, and credit card applications.
Provide customer and member service by identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
Maintain a safe shopping environment.
Clean and organize the car wash and gas station area and ensure pricing signage is accurate.
Maintain the gas station and car wash area according to company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise and supplies, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility according to company procedures.
Use equipment appropriately and complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
Operate and maintain gas station and car wash equipment and provide products and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
