About The Position
As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, the Cart Attendant helps customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. The role provides customer service through friendly conversation, careful handling of bagged items, and maintaining a clear and safe parking lot. The position includes offering additional service during inclement weather.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot by gathering shopping carts and picking up garbage.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
- Offer additional service during inclement weather.
- Carefully handle bagged items.
