About The Position
As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, the Cart Attendant helps customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. The role involves providing friendly customer service, carefully handling bagged items, and keeping the parking lot clear and safe. The attendant helps create a lasting impression and encourage customer loyalty. Shifts may start as early as 7 a.m.; availability is required in the morning and afternoon. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot, gather shopping carts, and pick up garbage.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
- Offer additional service during inclement weather.
- Carefully handle bagged items.
