About The Position

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Cart Attendant to support store services and provide above-and-beyond customer service. The role involves interacting with customers and assisting with tasks across the store, service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot. Flexible availability, including weekends, is needed; availability between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. is preferred. The job profile is not all-inclusive, and the team member may perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Availability to work between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
