About The Position
As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, the Cart Attendant helps ensure customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. The role involves providing friendly customer service, carefully handling bagged items, and keeping the parking lot clear and safe. The attendant helps create a lasting impression and encourage first-time shoppers to become loyal Wegmans customers.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot.
- Gather shopping carts and pick up garbage.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
- Offer additional service during inclement weather.
- Carefully handle bagged items.
