About The Position

As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, the Cart Attendant helps customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. The role provides friendly customer service through conversation and assistance, handles bagged items carefully, and helps keep the parking lot clear and safe. The position is part time and is located at 11550 N. Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277. Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends, with shifts starting as early as 6 a.m. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Pay is $16.50–$17 per hour. Requirements

Must be 16 years or older.
Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends; shifts may start as early as 6 a.m.

Responsibilities

Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot.
Gather shopping carts and pick up garbage.
Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
Offer additional service during inclement weather.
Carefully handle bagged items.
