About The Position

This is a high-volume, high-energy sales role where you will be on the phone extensively. You will build relationships with freight carriers, negotiate rates, solve problems during transit, and compete to be one of the best on the floor. The earning potential is uncapped and directly tied to your production and results. Your day involves managing open loads, active shipments, and carrier relationships, with a focus on making connections, moving freight, and achieving results. The role requires sourcing capacity by calling freight carriers, negotiating rates in real-time, problem-solving when issues arise, building a strong carrier network, and maintaining high energy with daily activity goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, phone-heavy sales or customer-facing environment.
  • Comfort with rejection and the persistence to keep going.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A competitive mindset and desire to win.
  • Freight or logistics experience is helpful, but not required.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, recruiting, inside sales, customer service, or another high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Call freight carriers across North America to secure transportation for customer shipments.
  • Work rates in real time and close deals.
  • Jump in and find a solution when a truck falls off a load or something goes wrong in transit.
  • Develop strong carrier relationships so you become the person they want to work with again and again.
  • Make calls, hit daily activity goals, compete, learn, and continuously improve.
  • Own your results as your effort directly impacts your production and your paycheck.
