About The Position

The Carhop serves products to guests and provides friendly, quick, and polite service. The role may include skating duties for a Skating Carhop, including completing the required training and performing duties while wearing roller skates. The position is nonexempt and reports to the Manager on Duty (MOD).

Requirements

General restaurant or retail knowledge.
Basic math and reading skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Customer service and multitasking skills.
Ability to carry and balance a tray weighing up to 25 pounds and move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
For Skating Carhops, ability to perform duties while on roller skates after completing required training.

Responsibilities

Ensure products meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery to guests.
Deliver products to guests while carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
Provide friendly, quick, and polite service to guests and promptly respond to their requests.
Report customer complaints or issues to the MOD.
Assist guests with payment and make accurate change quickly and efficiently.
Clear trays and trash from guests’ vehicles, the patio, drive-thru, and parking lot.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
Maintain regular attendance.
Report employee complaints or issues to the MOD.
Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
For Skating Carhops, complete training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
