Carhop/ Skating Carhop (server)
About The Position
The Carhop/Skating Carhop serves products to guests and provides friendly, quick, and polite service. The role includes checking products against operational, quality, and appearance standards, delivering orders, assisting with payment, responding to guest requests, and reporting guest or employee issues to the Manager on Duty. Carhops also clear trays and trash, perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, and may move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds. Skating Carhops must complete skating training requirements and perform their duties on roller skates. The position involves irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a restaurant environment.
Requirements
- General restaurant or retail knowledge.
- Basic math and reading skills.

- Ability to carry and balance a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Ensure products meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery to guests.
- Deliver products to guests while carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Provide friendly, quick, and polite service to guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests.
- Report customer complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty.
- Assist guests with payment and make accurate change quickly and efficiently.
- Clear trays and trash from guests’ vehicles, the patio, drive-thru, and parking lot.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Report employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty.
- Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- For Skating Carhops, complete skating training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
