Carhop/ Skating Carhop (server)
About The Position
The Carhop serves products to guests and ensures that products meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery. The role provides friendly, quick, and polite service, responds to guest requests, assists with payment, and reports complaints or issues to the Manager on Duty (MOD). Carhops also clear trays and trash and perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties in accordance with operational standards. The position involves irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A Skating Carhop must complete the required training and perform duties on roller skates. The work takes place in a restaurant environment and involves continuous standing and movement, with frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking and to freezers when stocking food.
Requirements
- General restaurant or retail knowledge.
- Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities
- Ensure products meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery to guests.
- Deliver products to guests while carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Provide friendly, quick, and polite service to guests.
- Promptly respond to guest requests.
- Report customer complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Assist guests with payment and make accurate change quickly and efficiently.
- Clear trays and trash from guests’ vehicles, the patio, drive-thru, and parking lot.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Report employee complaints and issues to the MOD.
- Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- For Skating Carhops, complete Skating Carhop training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
