About The Position

The Carhop serves products to guests while ensuring items meet operational, quality, and appearance standards. The role provides prompt, friendly service, assists with payment, responds to guest requests, and reports customer concerns to the Manager on Duty. It also includes clearing trays and trash and performing regular cleaning and sanitation duties. Carhops may move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds. Skating Carhops must complete the required training and perform duties on roller skates.

Requirements

General restaurant or retail knowledge.
Basic math and reading skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Customer service and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure products meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery.
Deliver products to guests while carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
Provide friendly, quick, and polite service.
Promptly respond to guest requests and report customer complaints or issues to the Manager on Duty.
Assist guests with payment and make accurate change quickly and efficiently.
Clear trays and trash from guests’ vehicles, the patio, drive-thru, and parking lot.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Perform regular cleaning and sanitation, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
Maintain regular attendance.
Report employee complaints or issues to the Manager on Duty.
Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
For Skating Carhops, complete training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
