About The Position

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care to individuals with developmental disabilities. All shifts are available in Newport Beach. The role includes supporting clients with daily living activities and challenging behaviors, while giving family members relief. The hourly wage is $19.00. Cambrian offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, a supportive office team available 24/7, employee recognition, and referral bonuses.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a background check, Live Scan, and reference check.
• Have a current TB test, physical examination, and CPR and First Aid certifications, valid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, relieving family members from daily living activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies, including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy.
• Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent behavior triggers.
• Provide crisis intervention while prioritizing the client’s safety.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
