About The Position

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role is in Newport Beach, and all shifts are available. Caregivers support clients with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, engage them in activities they enjoy, and help relieve family members from daily living activities. The hourly wage is $19.00.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check.
• Current TB test, physical, CPR certification, and First Aid certification, valid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, relieving family members from daily living activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies, including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy.
• Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
• Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
