Caregiver Needed 12 Hour Shifts
About The Position
Caring Senior Service is seeking dependable caregivers to support seniors in Whitney, Hillsboro, and surrounding Hill County communities. Caregivers help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care and building supportive relationships with clients and their families. The company values caregiver feedback, recognizes their contributions, and describes opportunities to learn, develop, and take on more responsibility as the team grows. The posting lists overnight shifts from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., seven days a week, in Hillsboro, while also noting that flexible scheduling opportunities depend on client needs and caregiver availability. Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Help clients with dressing and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Run errands and provide transportation.
- Support clients with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
- Help seniors maintain safety, comfort, independence, and dignity in their homes.
- Communicate observations, ideas, and feedback to the team and provide families with peace of mind.
