About The Position

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults in their homes. Caregivers provide essential non-medical assistance that helps clients maintain independence and dignity, including companionship, personal care, help with daily living activities, and light housekeeping. Schedules vary based on client needs, with flexible scheduling and day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving, home care, or related experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; proof of insurance if required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control practices and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks.
