About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in their homes in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, dignified, and independent while offering support to clients and their families. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities with day, evening, overnight, and weekend availability. Pay is $15–$20 per hour, with the final rate determined at orientation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience through an agency.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to quality care.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable positions.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and onboarding procedures.
• Genuine commitment to treating every client with dignity, kindness, and respect.
• Must provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Follow care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
