About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a live-in position in Lindenhurst, Illinois. The caregiver will provide personalized one-on-one senior care while supporting the client’s comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being. The role includes personal care, mobility and transfer assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and emotional support. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, with weekend availability and consistent availability for at least three days per week required. Paid training and support from a dedicated care team are offered, along with opportunities to develop skills in specialized care.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years.
Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, private duty, or a similar setting.
At least 18 years old.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to caregiving.
Available for 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and consistently available for at least 3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hospice and dementia care is highly preferred.
Previous experience with Hoyer lifts and safe transfers is a plus.
Candidates with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, DSP, or Personal Care Assistant are encouraged to apply.
