About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver in Lindenhurst, Illinois, to provide personalized senior care while supporting the client's comfort, dignity, and safety. The position involves one-on-one care and companionship, personal care and activities of daily living, safe transfers and mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and emotional support.

The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Consistent availability for at least three days per week is required. Applicants should have at least one year of professional caregiving experience within the past two years. Experience in hospice and dementia care is highly preferred; prior Hoyer lift and safe-transfer experience is a plus.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience within the past two years.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, private duty, or a similar setting.
• At least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to caregiving.
• Consistent availability for at least three days per week, including weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hospice and dementia care is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with Hoyer lifts and safe transfers is a plus.
• Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, DSP, or Personal Care Assistant.
• Nursing students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
