About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join its Assisted Living team. The role assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and supporting residents with activities of daily living. This is a part-time second-shift position, scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with flexible scheduling, benefits, and a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. The Caregiver works under the supervision of an RN and LPN and helps foster a community guided by Service, Compassion, Respect, Excellence, and Friendliness.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given.
• Good assessment skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Provide prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel with non-professional duties and resident care under RN and LPN supervision.
• Report and record observations and the results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Document care provided.
