Part Time - Caregiver - Assisted Living - First Shift (6:30a-2:30p)
About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join its Assisted Living team. The Caregiver assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living for residents under the supervision of an RN or LPN. This is a part-time first-shift position, scheduled 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and a fun work environment, with starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to document care given.
- Good assessment skills.
- Enthusiasm, compassion, and passion for hospitality and senior engagement.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Provide prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel with non-professional duties and resident care under RN and LPN supervision.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
