About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one, in-home support for aging adults in Spokane and surrounding areas. The role assists clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The employer is especially seeking caregivers available for daytime, weekend, short, and/or split shifts, and is hiring for all shifts. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Pay is listed at $20–$24 per hour, with weekly pay and optional daily pay. Caregivers must meet applicable state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Requirements

At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
CNA or HCA certification, or ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
CPR certification.
At least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to drive clients and have a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
Must comply with state background-screening requirements.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Alzheimer's or dementia experience.
Availability for daytime, weekend, short, and/or split shifts is especially sought.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
