About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home assistance to aging adults in Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, and surrounding communities. The company is especially seeking caregivers available for ongoing weekend and daytime shifts; full-time and part-time schedules are available. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, supporting seniors’ quality of life and well-being. Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Additional eligibility requirements, compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
Experience with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
At least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to drive clients, with access to a vehicle and car insurance and registration.
Must meet state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and grocery shop.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
