About The Position
Senior Home Companions is hiring a Caregiver (Senior Home Companion) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors in the Indianapolis area. Caregivers work with a 1:1 resident-caregiver ratio to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized support. The role involves non-medical personal care, assistance with daily living activities, and companionship. Flexible schedules are offered, and hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half.
Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience.
- Genuine interest in spending time with seniors and making them smile.
- Ability to assist with personal care, daily living activities, and companionship.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own personal transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities they enjoy.
