About The Position
Senior Home Companions is seeking a Caregiver (Senior Home Companion) to provide compassionate, one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors in the Indianapolis area. The role focuses on helping clients with personal care and daily living activities while offering companionship and supporting active, engaged lives. The position offers flexible schedules and competitive pay, including time-and-a-half for hours over 40.
Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience.
- A genuine love for spending time with seniors and making them smile.
- Ability to assist with personal care, daily living activities, and companionship.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own personal transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities they enjoy.
