About The Position

Nest & Care is seeking personal caregivers to provide exceptional personal and companion care to clients in Calvert County. Caregivers provide hands-on assistance that may include bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene. They follow each client’s care plan and assessments to provide consistent, quality care, observe clients for changes in behavior or health, and notify appropriate Nest & Care personnel when necessary. Caregivers may also drive and run errands and are expected to follow company policies and accurately clock in and out for every shift.

Requirements

CMTs must have at least one year of caregiving experience in an agency, nursing home, group home, assisted living facility, or similar setting.
Caregivers must have no attendance issues.
Caregivers must be able to drive and run errands.
Caregivers must be able to provide personal and companion care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal and companion care, including hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Read client care plans and assessments and provide consistent care based on each client’s plan.
Observe clients for changes in behavior or health and notify appropriate Nest & Care personnel when necessary.
Drive and run errands for clients.
Follow company policies, including those regarding dress code, time off, and call-outs.
Clock in and out for every shift using the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients being served.
