About The Position

Nest & Care is seeking Personal Caregivers to provide personal and companion care to clients in their homes. Caregivers provide hands-on assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene, while following each client’s care plan and assessments. They observe clients for changes in behavior or health and notify appropriate Nest & Care personnel when necessary. The posting lists compensation of $18.00–$20.00 per hour and describes the agency as independently owned and operated.

Requirements

• CMTs must have at least one year of caregiving experience in an agency, nursing home, group home, assisted living facility, or similar setting.
• Caregivers should have no attendance issues.
• Ability to drive and run errands.
• Ability to provide personal and companion care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal and companion care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Read each client’s care plan and assessments and provide consistent quality care based on them.
• Observe clients for changes in behavior or health and notify appropriate Nest & Care personnel when necessary.
• Follow company policies, including those concerning dress code, time off, and call-outs.
• Clock in and out for every shift using the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients being served.
• Drive and run errands for clients.
