About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Carroll County is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care in Westminster, Sykesville, Manchester, Eldersburg, Finksburg, other Carroll County communities, and nearby Pennsylvania communities such as Hanover. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, household tasks, meals, shopping, transportation, dementia and memory care, and communication with families and the office team. The role offers flexible scheduling and around-the-clock office support. CNA certification is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

CPR certification is required.
Obtain TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
Have a valid driver's license and a dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
Be willing to travel within Frederick County.
Successfully complete a criminal background check.
Be comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including homes with cats and dogs.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification.
At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
Shop for groceries and transport clients to appointments.
Provide dementia and memory care support.
Keep families and the office team informed with timely care updates.
