About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults in Frederick County, Maryland. The role supports clients who wish to remain in their own homes and live independently. Caregivers assist with daily personal care, household tasks, errands, transportation, and dementia and memory care, while keeping families and the office team informed about clients’ care.

Requirements

Be compassionate, reliable, and responsible, and take pride in your work.
CPR certification is required.
Have TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
Have a valid driver's license and a dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
Be willing to travel within Frederick County.
Successfully complete a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification.
At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
Shop for groceries and transport clients to appointments.
Provide dementia and memory care support.
Keep families and the office team informed with timely care updates.
