About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs across Frederick County to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking support to older adults who want to stay in their own homes and live on their own terms. We are looking for reliable individuals who genuinely care and are seeking fulfilling work. Requirements

Caring, dependable, and ready to show up for people who need it.
CPR Certification required.
TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including cats and dogs.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required.
Willingness to travel throughout Frederick County.
Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and morning routines.
Tidy up around the house.
Prepare meals.
Run errands, such as grocery shopping.
Transport clients to medical appointments.
Provide companionship and engage in activities like chatting or playing cards.
Offer patience and a calm presence for clients with memory loss.
Communicate with the office regarding client visits and care consistency.
