About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs across Frederick County to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking support to older adults who want to stay in their own homes and live on their own terms. The role involves assisting clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, tidying the house, cooking, grocery shopping, and accompanying them to appointments. Caregivers also provide companionship and support to clients with memory loss, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The position requires maintaining communication with the office regarding client visits and care status. Requirements

• CPR Certification required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including cats and dogs
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required
• Willingness to travel throughout Frederick County
• Must pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is a plus, but not required
• At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to older adults.
• Offer companionship to clients.
• Perform homemaking support for clients.
• Assist clients with daily tasks such as bathing and dressing.
• Tidy up around the client's house.
• Cook meals for clients.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping.
• Drive clients to appointments.
• Provide a calm presence for clients with memory loss.
• Keep the office informed about client visits and care status.
