About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults in their homes across Frederick County, Maryland. The work supports clients who want to remain in their own homes and live independently. Caregivers receive flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid time off and holiday pay, health, dental, and vision insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, education scholarship opportunities, mileage reimbursement and travel time pay, learning and development opportunities, bonus programs, 24/7 office support, and referral rewards. Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable, and responsible, with pride in their work.
- CPR certification required.
- TB clearance in accordance with CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
- Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
- Willingness to travel within Frederick County.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus but not required.
- At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping and prepare meals.
- Shop for groceries and transport clients to appointments.
- Provide dementia and memory care support.
- Keep families and the office team informed with timely care updates.
