About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to support clients in Apex, North Carolina, at a partner Independent Senior Living Community. Floor Caregivers assist multiple clients through short pop-in visits in their apartments during a shift. The role offers day, evening, and weekend shifts, with 4- to 5-hour morning and evening schedule options. Client needs include personal care, companionship, mobility support, and transportation. TheKey describes its local teams as providing caregiver support and emphasizes building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting aging adults.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Comply with state background screening requirements.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
• Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Provide mobility support and transportation as needed.
