About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking an experienced, dependable part-time caregiver to support a client in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The role is for weekend shifts, with exact hours to be confirmed. The caregiver will provide respectful, client-focused assistance with daily activities and other needs according to the client’s care plan. Candidates must have at least three years of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, weekend availability, and the ability to start immediately. Caregivers should be prepared to discuss their experience, certifications, availability, and preferred weekend hours during the hiring process. The position may also involve shopping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, assistance with telehealth visits, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Requirements
- At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Weekend availability and flexibility regarding weekend scheduling.

- Comfort assisting with personal care and daily living tasks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must satisfy applicable employer screening and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care according to the client’s individual needs and care plan.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Offer companionship and help maintain a comfortable, respectful care environment.
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers when appropriate.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
- Complete light housekeeping tasks related to client care.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with applicable rules and care instructions.
- Monitor the client’s well-being and report significant changes or concerns.
- Follow care plans, infection-control practices, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Communicate scheduling concerns and care-related updates promptly.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
