About The Position
We are seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors and individuals with memory care or physical needs in a supportive environment. Multiple positions are available in Gonzales, Texas, with an immediate need for morning and split-shift coverage. Available schedules include a morning shift from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and a split shift from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Availability is needed throughout the week, including weekends.
Requirements
- Experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with safe transfers.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing quality care.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with clients while assisting with daily routines, including dressing, meals, and personal hygiene.
- Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support.
- Assist with safe transfers using mobility equipment, such as Hoyer lifts.
- Transport clients to local outings and appointments as needed.
- Maintain accurate client health records using the electronic documentation system.
