Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous caregiving or related experience
CPR and First Aid certification
Caring, reliable, and compassionate personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow individualized care plans
Commitment to providing respectful and person centered care
Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Provide medication reminders
Assist with meal planning and preparation
Provide nutrition and hydration support
Offer companionship and conversation
Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments or activities
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment
Observe and report changes in a client's condition
Follow individualized care plans and communicate with the care team
