About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support to a client in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area. The position is part-time, with daytime shifts; the posting also describes the desired schedule as consistent weekday mornings. Compensation is $15.00 per hour. Requirements
- At least three years of caregiving experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
- Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Negative TB test results.
- CPR/First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning in accordance with the client’s care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care and maintain a clean environment.
- Provide medication reminders as authorized and permitted by applicable requirements.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or daily needs.
- Follow the client’s care plan and applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain client confidentiality and treat each client with respect and dignity.
- Communicate professionally with appropriate family members or the care team.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
