About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide quality care and assistance to a client in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, reliable, and committed to helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. This position offers a consistent weekday daytime schedule. The selected candidate must be available to begin immediately and have reliable transportation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
- Willingness and ability to start immediately.
- Patience, compassion, dependability, and professionalism.
- Comfort assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Must meet applicable employer screening and documentation requirements.
Nice To Haves
- PCA or CNA certification is a plus.
- Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant/Aide (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials are welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning, as appropriate to the client's care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care, including tidying the living area and maintaining a clean environment.
- Provide medication reminders, as authorized and permitted by applicable requirements.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or daily needs.
- Follow the client's care plan and applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain client confidentiality and treat every client with respect and dignity.
- Communicate professionally with appropriate family members or the care team.
