About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide in-home care to a client in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and surrounding areas. This role is intended for a caregiver who can help the client maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, and the selected candidate must be ready to start immediately and have reliable transportation. Care includes assistance with activities of daily living and personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping related to the client’s care. The caregiver must follow the client’s care plan and applicable safety and infection-control procedures, protect confidentiality, observe and report changes, and communicate professionally with the appropriate family members or care team. The posting also describes typical duties such as assisting with shopping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, and telehealth visits. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional caregiving experience.
Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
Willingness and ability to start immediately.
Patience, compassion, dependability, and professionalism.
Comfort assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Must meet applicable employer screening and documentation requirements.

Nice To Haves

Home Health Aide (HHA) credential; qualified HHA applicants are encouraged to apply.
Personal Care Assistant/Aide (PCA) certification is a plus.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning according to the client’s care plan.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care and maintain a clean environment.
Provide medication reminders as authorized and permitted by applicable requirements.
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or daily needs.
Follow the client’s care plan and applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
Maintain client confidentiality and treat clients with respect and dignity.
Communicate professionally with appropriate family members or the care team.
Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
