About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide companion care and daily living assistance to seniors and individuals who need recuperative or continuing care in clients’ homes. The role is for PRN weekend assignments in Lawrenceville and surrounding areas, with caregivers recruited from several nearby communities and expected to travel to client assignments in or around Lilburn. Duties depend on each client’s needs and care plan. The posting also describes flexible part-time and PRN opportunities, initial and ongoing training, and a supportive work atmosphere. Compensation is $100 per day.

Requirements

Complete all required employment and onboarding requirements.
A valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
A clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Access to email and a mobile smart device.
Understand and respect client privacy, dignity, and preferences.
Be reliable, compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team.
Be available and willing to accept weekend PRN assignments.
Be willing to travel to client assignments in or around Lilburn.

Previous home care or caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and support with activities of daily living.
Assist with shopping, grocery shopping, errands, and transportation, including picking up prescriptions and assisting with telehealth visits.
Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, safe environment.
Prepare meals and assist clients with meals.
Provide toileting and continence care, bathing and shower assistance, walking and mobility assistance, and help with dressing and grooming.
Provide supervision and daily living support according to the client’s needs.
Follow the client’s care plan and respect the client’s preferences, privacy, and dignity.
