About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, providing companionship, and delivering safe, respectful care in accordance with each client’s care plan. The position offers daytime, part-time shifts; the posting also describes a consistent weekday morning schedule.

Requirements

At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
Driver’s license.
Social Security card.
Negative TB test results.
CPR/First Aid certificate.
Car insurance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning in accordance with the client’s care plan.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care, including tidying the living area and maintaining a clean environment.
Provide medication reminders as authorized and permitted by applicable requirements.
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or daily needs.
Follow the client’s care plan and applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
Maintain client confidentiality and treat each client with respect and dignity.
Communicate professionally with appropriate family members or the care team.
