About The Position
Exhava Home Care is hiring compassionate and experienced caregivers to support older adults in their homes. The role focuses on providing respectful, person-centered care, including support for clients experiencing dementia and memory-related challenges. Caregivers help promote clients’ dignity, independence, safety, and comfort while following individualized care plans and communicating concerns to the care team. Requirements
- Previous caregiver experience is preferred.
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
- Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide safe mobility assistance.
- Support clients experiencing dementia and memory-related challenges with patience and respect.
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed.
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment.
- Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
- Follow individualized care plans and promote client dignity and independence.
